Celebrating Progress and Embracing Life's Unpredictability

Hello, stunning souls!

I've been quiet for a bit, but don't worry, I'm still here and more determined than ever. This year has unfolded in ways I couldn't have predicted, but that's the beauty of life, isn't it? It keeps us on our toes, and I've learned to roll with the punches.

I'm one of those folks who loves checking things off their to-do list. There's an undeniable thrill in achieving what you set out to do. But recently, life handed me a different list of tasks I didn't anticipate. And guess what? I've been tackling them with all the determination I bring to my own goals.

Life's little curveballs have a way of teaching us valuable lessons. So, I'm here to share my journey with you, and I must admit, it's been quite an adventure. Over the past few months, my husband embarked on an unexpected career change, stepping into a new world of opportunities and challenges. The engine in our son's car went caput, which required some unexpected financial adjustments. And as if that wasn't enough, I had a little run-in with life when a car accident left me with whiplash. These moments were not on my to-do list, but they've tested my resilience and ability to adapt.

As I welcomed my 50th year in January, I set some audacious personal goals, and I'm happy to report that I've achieved some and made substantial progress on others. I'm proud of my efforts and want to shout from the rooftops, "I'm a glorious work in progress!" I'm embracing the reality that it's not just about reaching the finish line but about savoring every step of the journey. Life isn't a checklist; growth, excitement, and wisdom are all in the journey.

The lesson for me is that even when life throws you a surprise party of its own, it's not a setback; it's an opportunity to shine even brighter. I'm embracing the twists and turns while keeping my eye on the prize and enjoying the scenery along the way.
